We're awarding it to these eight wonderful blogs. I could list so many others, but I suspect a lot of them will have gotten the award already, and it's been a long day!
BooksForKidsBlog offers reviews for children from preschool to high school age by a recently retired librarian who draws from 32+ years of experience as an elementary school librarian. You know she knows her stuff!
Crazy for Kids Books aims to "help kids get excited about reading so their world is as wide as they want it to be" and to "encourage more adults to read to the children in their lives." What could be better than that?
Full to the Brim is a self-professed "mommy blog" offering reviews and posts on children's books, music, toys, and other products. My favorite feature is that every Monday and Friday, the site publishes a Full to the Brim Kid's Book Giveaway List!
Lucky Me! is full of cute craft ideas for kids (hers are 2 and 5). I especially liked her "Reasons Why We Love Daddy" Valentine's Day card here, the personalized books here and here (we have to make some of these!), and cute fingerprint rainbows here.
No Time For Flashcards has probably already gotten this award ten times before, but it deserves it again! A site chock full of wonderful kids crafts, most of which are paired with book reviews.
Ph.D. in Parenting. I just recently discovered this blog, authored by the mother of two children who practices "attachment parenting." We share a lot of the same parenting techniques (for lack of a better word) - breastfeeding, babywearing, co-sleeping, not "crying it out," etc., and I'm enjoying making my way through her informative blog and the interesting comments.Sophisticated Dorkiness contains the musings of a "bookworm journalist." It also features a really neat "2009 Blog Improvement Project," which I have been following as a fly on the wall since it started. Go over and have a peek at all of the wonderful ideas to improve your blog.
Thrifty Craft Mama is another great source of thrifty crafts. In addition to her own wonderful ideas, she often has great summaries of other people's posts around certain themes. Check out her collection of things to do with cardboard!
