I do not twit. I'm not sure I buy into the medium. I'm all for brevity but what is it, 200 characters? I don't use a cell phone much either. This is starting to be the "old lady" phase of my life where I selectively reject some of the newer technologies. If you find anything useful, pass it along via the blog!
I'm on twitter (thrftycraftmama), but I haven't really got a clue what I'm doing on there. So, if you gain any wisdom as to how it works, please do share. I even tried to follow you and failed to find your username, how pathetic is that?
I'm on twitter also (ChickwithBooks) and I also have no clue as to what I'm doing! :D ..... But thought I would try and overcome my twitter phobia.. My friend Yvette (True Crime Book Reviews) has over 500 friends! I can see where it would be a great tool to add some traffic to our blogs, but could it also generate some spam?
You have succumbed to the dark side! ;) Let me know how it goes. :)
Uh oh. I'm there but try not to twitter much of anything. So if you are interested in reading a whole lot of nothing here you go (iambrimful)
No blog posts since I joined Twitter! I'm actually just finding it a little weird... I explained it to my husband tonight as like being on those party lines in the 80's (I was too young, but I remember my brother being on one once or twice and listening in). You heard all of these muffled snippets of conversation, but not the whole conversation, not all sides of it, just one person talking into a void. But I can see it's appeal -- I've already found a bunch of fun blogs I'd never come across before.
I recently joined Twitter too (mamaTRUE) and am loving the character limit. The updates feel haiku-like. A friend recommended looking at who she's following to find people with similar interests. I found all sorts of folks on parenting, publishing, quotes, and Twitter Tips. I clicked to follow them and a lot of them are following me now too.
Just found your blog thanks to Allie at No Time for Flash Cards (via Twitter!). Would love to follow you. Your blog is so great, where have I been? We're huge book people in this house - the toddler (2.5) and baby (3 mths) 'read' a lot ;)please follow me on twitter @bitofmomsense
I know how you feel. Twitter can noisy. I'm glad I found you thru twitter, tho, and I'm subscribing to your blog thru my google reader, so that's a good thing. @cathyjuneart
