As the setting sun kissed the kelp forest, Little Sea Otter snuggled on Mama's chest. Mama fluffed his fur until he looked like a brown powder puff. Then it was bedtime, but Little Sea Otter wasn't ready to sleep. "I forgot to say good night to the harbor seals," he said. This is a familiar theme (What mom can't relate?), but the ocean setting makes it fresh. The illustrations (by Wish Williams) are beautiful, with rich colors and child-pleasing creatures. The Bibliophile clearly enjoyed the book, as did I.

We saw a Veggietales movie that had a similar bedtime theme, and it cracked me up so much because my kids totally do the same thing.

Thanks so much for the wonderful review of my book, and thanks for the nice comments from everyone who has stopped by. When our kids were little they often wanted to read "Flat Stanley" because it was the longest book on their bookshelf! Happy Reading and Happy Dreams to All!
Sounds like a must-have book, and waaay too familiar plot with our 3yo daughter!
